Jennifer Lauren Gallery's booth W8 in West Wing, presents a curated collection of works by artists from across the globe, centered on the theme of living beings—both human and animal. Through diverse media and cultural perspectives, these artists explore identity, their passions, and everyday life, often letting their imagination roam free. This showcase seeks to highlight originality of artistic expression, with art school playing no part, and a rawness coming to the fore.
This is Jennifer’s first presentation at COLLECT. She is thrilled to debut all these artists at the fair, for audiences to learn more and fall in love with their work. The range of materials gives room for everyone's tastes, and the often-simple materials featured allows audiences to see how materials can be pushed for artistic merit - this includes the use of the humble pipe cleaner and dried out Japanese oak leaves.
Featured artists:
Seatton Asamoah-Daniels – Richly textured surfaces where silhouettes, faces, and patterns emerge in subtle interplay
