Two artists selected for Kaarisilta Biennale

Roy Collinson that attended Barrington Farm in Norfolk, and Makato Takezawa from Japan have been selected for the 2019 Kaarisilta Biennale in Helsinki. The Biennale is held across two locations in Helsinki from 26 June until 4 August 2019. One site is their Art Gallery in the city centre, and the second is a building in the grounds of the Kaarisilta studios that are further out. This is the fourth Biennale, showcasing paintings, drawings, videos, ceramics, sculptures and installations. In addition to works from Finland it also features works from Japan, Holland, India, Iceland, England and Estonia by artists with disabilities. Here are the three pieces that were selected for each artist.
