Monochromatic Minds - Audio Tour

As part of Monochromatic Minds: Lines of Revelation I wanted to make the exhibition more accessible to artists with visual impairments, so that they were able to gain information about the exhibition in ways more suited to them. In the exhibition space itself I had discovery pens that could be used to tap numbers (on yellow circles) placed near to the works of ten artists in the exhibition and the introductory wall text. The pen then spoke to you with audio that I had pre-recorded onto it. For each artist I recorded biographic information, a short description of the work itself and its materials, and then a quote or snippet of information that the artist had given me permission to share. Below I have included these audio recordings for people to still be able to enjoy the show now that it is over.

Thank you to Bristol Museum & Art Gallery for loaning the discovery pens for use in this exhibition. Thank you to Matthew Bartlett for recording and finalising the audio for this exhibition.
