Kate Bradbury Solo Show Review | Raw Vision Magazine

Kate Bradbury solo exhibition - installation photo

In 2018 the Jennifer Lauren Gallery presented From starlings to earth things and all the fish that cannot swim - a solo exhibition by self-taught London based artist Kate Bradbury. It featured intricate black ink drawings on chinese scroll paper alongside sculptures made from items found on the streets of London. Artist Judith McNicol reviewed the show in issue #98 of Raw Vision Magazine in Summer 2018.

Judith said, “Kate Bradbury is hugely inventive; her unique creations are instilled with her own potent myths that remind us that we all carry mystical inner worlds that, unlike Kate, few of us dare to explore so intensely. Each work arouses not just our curiosity and admiration, but they touch us with concern for the characters, the story, the dilemma and the destination.”
