In October 2017, the Jennifer Lauren and Henry Boxer Galleries presented Blinko & Neate: Unlocking Worlds, featuring intricate, often melancholic drawings by Nick Blinko and automatic creations by Chris Neate. Both artists portray a fantastical attention to detail with microscopic precision in their works. It was reviewed by academic and writer Tony Thorne in issue #96 of Raw Vision Magazine in Winter 2017.

Tony said, “Magnifying glasses hung next to each of a series of recent works, allowing visitors fully to appreciate the astonishing intricacies of Blinko’s crowded, diabolical visions juxtaposed with Neate’s swirling, textured automatic drawings.”
